Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco DOC
Wine with a prestigious name and an origin that is lost in legend: God wept when he found a strip of sky stolen by Lucifer in the Gulf of Naples and, where his tears fell, the vine of Lacryma Christi was born. Given the extraordinary nature of the area, very rich in ash mixed with lava and lapilli, between which the vine climbs with difficulty, it is not possible to ignore so much force of nature in the expression of aromas and flavors.

Its estates are located in Irpinia, the birthplace of three DOCG wines: Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, and Taurasi. Divided into various areas of the region, these estates aim to conserve the identity and protection of unique terroirs. Mastroberardino is committed to safeguarding and promoting valuable grape varieties, including Aglianico, Fiano, Greco, Falanghina, Piedirosso, and Coda di Volpe, with roots that delve into the history of Greek colonization and ancient Rome.
