The Lacryma Christi White Wine DOC is a wine produced by the Le Lune Del Vesuvio winery. It is renowned for its flavor nuances and vivacity. Its winemaking process is structured as follows: the grapes are processed in a destemmer-crusher, after this phase, the destemmed grapes are placed in a soft membrane press. The must is then diverted to fermenting tanks made of stainless steel, where alcoholic fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 12°/14°C for a period ranging from 10 to 15 days. Afterward, the fermented must is stored in other tanks where the refinement phase continues.

Cantina Le Lune del Vesuvio is a true gem of the Campania region, nestled in the picturesque hilly area of the Vesuvius National Park at an altitude of approximately 400 meters.
This family-owned agricultural and transformation company covers about one hectare of land, offering a stunning panorama that includes the wonders of the ancient Pompeii ruins, the island of Capri, and the Gulf of Naples. The productive activities, including viticulture, fruit cultivation, and horticulture (with a focus on the Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio and seasonal vegetables), are carried out on typical terraces using conventional agricultural methods.
In the adjacent cellar, grapes harvested from the company's vineyards contribute to the production of the renowned Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio wine.
Since 1940, the Forno family, led by "Nonno Andrea" and subsequently by his son Francesco and grandsons Andrea and Salvatore, has achieved prestigious milestones in the wine industry. Their mission has always been clear: to run a business while preserving their land and outstanding wines, all the while maintaining a strong connection to their farming roots.
