CORNETTO PEPPER
The Cornetto Pepper, also called "Bull's Horn" due to its elongated horn shape, is a vegetable belonging to the Solanaceae family, the size varies from 18 to 20 cm., Red or yellow when ripe, fleshy pulp with a sweet flavor . The pepper is native to South America which is characterized by always mild temperatures and is a plant cultivated as a perennial. In Italy, on the other hand, given the colder temperatures in winter, it is an annual plant.
Few people know that it contains a percentage of vitamin C four times higher than in citrus fruits. In addition, it is rich in phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium and vitamin A.
Ideal for caponata or fried foods, to be prepared stuffed, or even grilled whole.
