Vineyards

Over 3,000 hectares of vineyards stretch across a vast territory from the slopes of Montello along the course of the Piave River to its mouth. These lands were once part of the Venetian Republic, and the echoes of this fascinating past can still be heard today among vineyards and woods dotted with tranquil towns and ancient villages. Located between the Adriatic Riviera and the foothills of the Prealps in the Conegliano area, the vineyards thrive in tenacious clay and light sand typical of the Piave region, which provide optimal soil conditions. The climate is particularly favorable for grape cultivation, characterized by ideal temperature variations and adequate rainfall. The grape varietal composition is predominantly white, with DOC Prosecco (based on Glera) and DOC Pinot Grigio delle Venezie taking the lead, followed by Chardonnay and Manzoni. Among the red grape varieties, the main ones are Merlot and Cabernet, along with the native variety of the Piave region, Raboso.
