NEAPOLITAN LONG PUMPKIN
One of the typical products of the area of the province of Naples is that of the Zucca Lunga or Cocozza Zuccarina, a typical vegetable of many recipes of the local peasant tradition.
With its characteristic elongated and narrow shape (it can even exceed 30 kg. In weight and one meter in length), with orange-colored skin with green streaks and a sweetish and aromatic pulp, the "Cocozza" is a mine of mineral salts, sugars , vitamin C, beta-carotene, dietary fiber, potassium.
