The term pollen derives from the Latin "pollen" which means "fine flour".
It is composed of microscopic granules contained in the flowers. This prodigious "dust" is indispensable food for the reproduction of bees.
Pollen is an excellent nutritional source of proteins, essential amino acids and vitamins. The cold dehumidification process better preserves its nutritional properties, in particular for vitamin C.
It is advisable to take 10 g per day (two teaspoons).
